KWAP Completes RM1.06 Billion Acquisition Of Integra Tower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) has completed the RM1.065 billion acquisition of Integra Tower, its first property investment in the domestic market.
 
The property was acquired from a private real estate fund managed by BlackRock, it said in a statement.
 
Its chief executive officer, Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad, said the property has a net lettable area of 760,715 sq ft and 850 parking bays.
 
"KWAP is happy to acquire Integra Tower that is strategically located in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur. The property will give a good return to KWAP from its rental income," he said.
 
The Integra Tower, which was completed in 2012, comes with a 'green building' status and is located at the intersection of two of the most active commercial spines in Kuala Lumpur -- Jalan Ampang and Jalan Tun Razak.
 
The 39-storey grade-A office building with the LEED Platinum certification forms part of The Intermark comprising of Vista Tower, Double Tree by Hilton and Intermark Mall.
