Green Experience at Sunway Montana

Date:2015/05/21

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 MAY ~ Sunway Montana, a Sunway Property ecological and low-density freehold residential development, has held an exclusive preview of its townhouse show units, which included the opening of its private jungle trail and sky bridge to the public. The event attracted more than 300 visitors to experience the development’s eco luxury living concept on the past weekend.

Located within the affluent Desa Melawati vicinity, the 56.4 acres prestigious Sunway Montana development features two phases of villas, semi-detached homes and townhouses with a gross development value of RM590 million. The gated and guarded development is famed for its 14 acres lush private forest with a 1 km foot path, a 25m sky bridge and pavilions overlooking Kuala Lumpur’s skyline.

Sunway Montana townhouse units, which come in two-storey and 1.5 storey configurations, boast a width of 32 feet each. Each townhouse comes with a modern façade within a box villa concept, and is oriented according to the hill’s contours, with views facing the greens or the city.

Launched in December 2012, the townhouse series is Sunway Montana’s final phase, with a current take-up rate of 85% so far. The first phase, which comprised three-storey courtyard villas and three-storey semi-detached homes, has recorded 100% take up rates, while the latest phase of courtyard villas also saw a take up rate of 100%.

“As a Master Community Developer, we advocate healthy and sustainable lifestyles. It is our privilege to have this public preview so that the public can join us in experiencing the jungle trail,” said Ong Ghee Bin, Executive Director of Property Development Division for the Central Region, Sunway Berhad.

“Sunway Montana's 4-storey townhouses are double volume, as the 32ft wide homes are wider than most conventional townhouses, with balconies showcasing spectacular views of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The townhouses would be perfect for young families,” Ong added.

The development is 60% green with extensive landscape, with only five units of houses per acre on average. One of the key features of the project is its RM10 million LEED Platinum award-winning clubhouse, which measures 19,000 sq ft in size and comes with a function room, gourmet kitchen, swimming pool, yoga room, karaoke room, gymnasium and Petronas Twin Tower viewing deck.

Easily accessible via Middle Ring Road II (MRR2), Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) and Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Sunway Montana is about 13km from KLCC and 16km from Mont Kiara. Sunway Montana is near two light rail transit stations, Wangsa Maju Station and Taman Melawati Station.

Sunway Montana won the best housing development (Central Malaysia) at SEAPA Malaysia 2014 in both the national and regional levels.
